Being over weight will hurt you if you let it and do not do something about it. It is notgood to be over weight, obesity can cause your body harm. What are something that can happen to me if am overweight? If you are over weight there is many things that can happen to you. Obesity is responsiblefor heart attacks. Obesity is behind sleep apnea, strokes, diabetes and so on. When aperson is overweight, they often hurt all the time. Sometimes it makes it difficult tobreath. Obesity causes the heart to work harder. You may have a hard time walking acrossthe floor. Obesity can make you feel depressed and not want to go anywhere or doanything. Being over weight is bad on your health. What can I do to help myself? You have several options, yet the first is to gain willpower to take control of your body.The next step is to start eating the right foods, getting some exercise and so on. If you canexercise like you want to that is great, take it slow and do a little at a time. Do not overdoit. If you over work your body, the body will let you know. Obesity prevents many fromstaying active. A persons emotions and mental state is affected by obesity, since you startthinking I don’t want to do anything. You have to do something. Get out of the house andtake in a movie. Perhaps you could visit some friends that you haven’t seen in awhile.The more active you are, you will start feeling better about you and maybe you will losesome weight. You need to go see your family doctor to see if its ok to do this before youstart. Your family doctor may give you a diet to go by and maybe recommend theexercises that will benefit you. |

Healthy Aging is getting good nights sleep As we grow older, we need to stay active to keep our bodies and system in shape. Theolder a person gets the less our bodies want to function so keeping it in shape is veryimportant for all of us, even the younger people. Sleeping is very important to all of us as we are aging. Aging brings on a different sleeppattern and we need to learn how to control it so when it is time to sleep we sleep well. Itis normal as we age that it becomes harder to get a good nights sleep and feel rested whenwe wake up. Sleeping is as important as our diet and activities. Did you know that it is hard for woman to sleep more so than men in their aging years?Women have more tendencies to feel stressed out more and they sometimes are just toobusy to get themselves into an exercising routine. If you don’t get enough sleep at night, itwill reduce your alertness during the day because you’re tired. Long periods of sleeplessnights can cause high blood pressure and isn’t good for the heart either. |

Every sixmonths women should seek a pelvic exam and once a year depending on age, the patientshould get a mammogram. There are a million reasons to see your doctor regularly. If youstay healthy you will feel better and you will be running stronger when the rest of us arelaying in our bed wishing we would had listen. How do I find a doctor? Finding a doctor is not hard for some and harder for others. You can check with peopleand ask them whom they have for a doctor or you can call your local hospital in your areaand see who is in your area. Keep in mind that because you do not have a doctor now, itmay make you feel uncomfortable when seeing a doctor for the first time. You need tofind a doctor that makes you feel comfortable for this reason. |
